An Add-on or Standalone Service option
An Add-on or Standalone Service option
Realm Inspections collects water samples for laboratory testing. Results describe the selected contaminants in the samples collected and help you decide what to investigate further.
The published basic water panel lists E. coli, coliform bacteria, nitrate/nitrite, arsenic and lead. Confirm your lender’s required contaminants, sampling instructions and accepted laboratory before ordering a test. A selected panel does not test for every possible contaminant.
The basic panel includes lead, arsenic and nitrate/nitrite testing. Additional testing requires a separately selected panel; confirm the sampling requirements when scheduling.
This option involves testing for harmful bacteria such as E. coli and coliform bacteria. Only an accredited lab can confirm the presence and type of bacterial contaminants. Discuss the laboratory findings and next steps with the appropriate qualified professional.
In addition to our default testing panel, Realm Inspections offers other more in-depth testing options for those that want a clearer picture of the water supplied to their home. These panels include:

Biological water results typically take 3–4 days from sample submission. Inorganic results typically take 7–10 business days from sample submission. Timing depends on the laboratory performing the analysis. These results follow a separate timeline from a home inspection report. Provide any lender testing requirements and your decision deadline before selecting the panel.
